Philippe Quint is a two time Grammy award nominee who has emerged in recent years as one of the few soloists to combine a remarkable degree of lyricism, poetry and impeccable virtuosity. His performance highlights include concerts throughout Germany, with the Chicago and San Diego Symphony Orchestras and an 18 concert US tour with the Cape Town Philharmonic. Philippe Quint is a Founder and Artistic Director of the Mineria Chamber Music Festival in Mexico City and recently formed the Quint Quintet, a musical ensemble dedicated to exploring the music of Astor Piazzola and the Argentine Tango. He performs on a 1723 “Ex-Kieseweter,” Antonio Stradivari violin on loan to him from Clement and Karen Arrison through the generous efforts of the Stradivari Society. He also performs regularly with the Perlman/Quint/Bailey Trio.

Pianist, songwriter, composer and arranger, Matt Herskowitz appears in Festivals around the world and with the Matt Herskowitz Trio. He has performed classical, contemporary, jazz and his own compositions to critical acclaim. The Trio was invited by Barry Manilow to join him on his Christmas release for Hallmark, “The Swing of Christmas.” The release was nominated for a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Album. His own composition, “Jerusalem Trilogy,” was performed at the El Paso Pro Musica Chamber Music Festival in 2010, and the CD of the work received critical praise. A graduate of the Juilliard School and the Curtis Institute, when not performing he makes his home in Montreal.
