Dr. Dahlia Castillo gives a moving speech about the field of Occupational Therapy and how we can rally together during these challenging times. Dr. Castillo encourages us to focus on what matters the most in our lives and to practice self-care through gratitude, one day at a time. Drs. Dominic and Nayeli Dousa are also featured with performances of At Day’s End and Mountain Mists, original compositions by Dominic Dousa. Both works were inspired by landscapes of the American Southwest.

Richard Trombone Camp 2020
An Amazing Workshop featuring some of the finest Trombonists, including UTEP Department of Music Chair and renowned musician Dr. Steve Wilson. The event held last weekend included Workshops and a Faculty Recital. Dr. Richard Harris, a Trombone Soloist, Teacher at the University of Denver and passionate advocate for bringing music and the arts to under-served populations, performs in this amazing Recital, along with Dr. Steve Wilson, Toby Oft, Boston Symphony, Paul Pollard, Metropolitan Opera and Barry Hearn from the Dallas Symphony. Richard Harris worked alongside Dr. Steve Wilson at UMC in El Paso to provide soothing and comforting music last August immediately following the El Paso Shooting.
